<p><span class="fontlargerred">1.  Put the iMist2-ready receiver on the misting unit into &#8220;Learn&#8221; mode at the controller</span></p>
<ul>
<li>SET-UP Menu, LRT</li>
<li>Press and hold Green ► button for 5 seconds until LRT is displayed and countdown starts</li>
</ul>

<p><span class="fontlargerred">2.  While the controller is counting down, put the handheld transmitter into &#8220;Learn&#8221; mode with a paper clip</span></p>
<ul>
<li>Pull the plastic &#8220;battery-save&#8221; protection tab (if present) from remote transmitter.</li>
<li>Use the supplied paperclip to press and quickly release the recessed pairing button on back of transmitter.  <span style="color: #ff0000;">DO NOT HOLD PAIRING BUTTON DOWN!</span></li>
<li>The blue LED above the button will flash several times, indicating it is in pairing mode</li>
<li>The controller display will indicate DONE when the transmitter and receiver are paired with each other.</li>
</ul>

<p><span class="fontlargerred">3.  If countdown continues without displaying DONE . . . </span></p>
<ul>
<li>In Step 2, if the pairing button is held down too long, the remote transmitter may have entered a frozen mode and will not pair with the receiver. You can tell if this has occurred by pressing (but not holding) the pairing button with the paper clip.  If the blue LED flashes twice, it is in the frozen mode.</li>
<li>If this has occurred, press and release the pairing button 4 times in succession.  On the 5th press, hold the button down for about 3 seconds.  While the button is pressed, the blue LED will be solid and then double blink.  After the double blink, release the button.</li>
<li>You should now be able to pair the transmitter and receiver by repeating step 2.</li>
</ul>
<p><span class="fontlargerred">4.  Confirm &#8220;Learn&#8221; by activating a remote mist cycle</span></p>
<ul>
<li>Confirm System Mode is set to REM or AUTO-Everyday</li>
<li>Confirm Level:  Gen1.3 &#8211; MAINTENANCE Menu, Level; Gen 3 &#8211; MAINTENANCE Menu, REFILL routine</li>
<li>Confirm number of nozzles:  SET-Up Menu, NOZ</li>
<li>Confirm remote mist duration:  SET-UP Menu, REM</li>
<li>Press MIST on handheld</li>
<li>LED on front of handheld will light when it receives confirming signal from iMist2-ready receiver on unit and unit will begin its mist cycle.</li>

<p>On the home screen, which shows day and time, press Green ► button to position ▲at top of display to one of four System Modes:</p>
<ul>
<li><strong>OFF</strong> &#8211; daily agitation cycle only.</li>
<li><strong>REM</strong> &#8211; Unit will allow Remote and Manual mists, but no AUTO-MISTs.  (Units sold prior to 2012, Mode is ON)</li>
<li><strong>AUTO Everyday</strong> &#8211; Misting program runs daily.  <strong><span class="fontred">This is the most common System Mode.</span></strong></li>
<li><strong>AUTO Custom</strong> &#8211; mist program runs on days configured in CUSTOM PGM.</li>
</ul>
<p><span class="fontlargerred">Enter Menu Item</span></p>
<ul>
<li>Pressing Red MENU/STOP button displays triangular cursor, ►, by DAY/TIME position on left side of display.</li>
<li>Use ▲ and ▼ buttons to move through list of menu items &#8211; DAY/Time, CYCLES, SET-UP, MAINTENANCE, DATA</li>
<li>Use Green ► button to select menu item.</li>
</ul>
<p><span class="fontlargerred">View or Change Data in Menu Item</span></p>
<ul>
<li>A flashing data element can be changed with the ▲ and ▼ buttons.</li>
<li>Move to the next element with the Green ► button.</li>
<li>Exit the menu item by pressing the MENU button.</li>
<li>The value of the data element is automatically saved when you move to the next data element or exit.</li>
</ul>
<p><span class="fontlargerred">Initiate routine in Menu Item</span></p>
<ul>
<li>There are a number of routines that are initiated by pressing and holding the Green ► button for 5 seconds.</li>
<li>SET-UP Menu &#8211; LRN,</li>
<li>MAINTENANCE Menu &#8211; LEVEL (Gen 1.3), REFILL (Gen 3), CHG (Gen 3), WINT (Gen 3) INS, DRN</li>
<li>DATA Menu &#8211; TOL, HLD</li>
</ul>
<p><span class="fontlargerred">Clear Codes that have suspended operation of the unit</span></p>
<ul>
<li>ERRor codes &#8211; Clear by pressing and holding the Red MENU/Stop button for 5 seconds.</li>
<li>NOZ00 &#8211; Clear by pressing and holding the Red MENU/Stop button for 5 seconds.</li>
<li>SKIP (NEXT MIST) &#8211; Clear by pressing and holding the ▲ for 5 seconds.</li>
</ul>
<p><span class="fontlargerred">Reset controller to factory settings</span></p>
<ul>
<li>Unplug unit</li>
<li>Press and hold MENU and ▲ buttons simultaneously while restoring power to unit.</li>
<li>Mist cycles, remote duration and number of nozzles must be reentered.</li>

<li>If RAG is not available as an option on the SET-UP menu, the system will agitate for 15 seconds prior to a REMOTE MIST.</li>

<li>The STOP MIST button stops the current operation of the unit. It will not change the System Mode from ON or AUTO to OFF.</li>

<p><span class="fontred"><span class="fontlarger"><strong>SKIP NEXT MIST Button</strong></span></span></p>
<ul>
<li>The SKIP NEXT MIST button enables the next programmed AUTO MIST to be skipped.  The controller will display “SKIP.”</li>

<ul>
<li>While the unit is flashing SKIP, it will still respond to a Remote or MANUAL MIST.</li>
</ul>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<ul>
<li>When an AUTO MIST has been skipped, the unit will return to the normal display, with a flashing “sunshine” icon in the lower right corner of the display.</li>
</ul>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<ul>
<li>You may only skip one mist at a time.  That is, pushing the SKIP NEXT MIST button multiple times will not cause multiple AUTO MIST cycles to be skipped.</li>
